Cablestock 2014 Official Release

Kick-off summer with live music on the beach, lots of sun and world-class wakeboarding at the largest beach party of the year, TSR Cablestock 2014

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (April 23, 2014) May 8th through the 11th, join Texas Ski Ranch in celebrating the twelfth anniversary of TSR’s beach party and tribute to summer, Cablestock 2014. Live music, world-class wakeboarding, bikini contests and an outdoor movie premiere will make this year’s event unlike any other.

Cablestock is a long standing tradition at TSR, and is known throughout the wakeboard community on a global scale. What makes this four day wake and music festival so unique are the festivities surrounding all the action. While the world’s best riders compete on the boat and cable, spectators enjoy an incredible show, live entertainment and refreshments from Wahoo’s beach side bar and grill.

Live music on the beach is an integral part of why locals and visitors from around the world attend Cablestock each year. This year’s festival will feature two local Texas Country favorites, Midnight River Choir and Dry River Religion for Friday night’s celebration. The TSR bikini contest will kick off the Saturday night Red Bull Play and Destroy event. Play and Destroy is a one-on-one iPod v iPod battle where competitors play songs from a list of ‘battlegories’ and try to win the crowd.

Last but not least, Cablestock will begin with an outdoor movie screening from Liquid Force of The Debut. Thursday night, spectators are encouraged to bring out beach blankets, kick back and enjoy a film that follows the world’s best riders on their journey across the globe.

Admission to Cablestock is free for spectators. Anyone wanting to get in on the action can purchase a three day cable pass for $49.95 good Thursday, Friday and Saturday in between competitions.

Huge thank you to this year’s sponsors: Liquid Force, Axis Wake Research, Malibu Boats, SPY, Body Glove, Polaroid, Burton, iWake.com, Hydrotunes and Unit Parktech AG.
