What’s up TSR family! The weather is finally warming up and we could not be happier about that- Spring Break is just around the corner and before you know it SUMMER will be here! The two events we held out here at the Ski Ranch on Saturday 17th were a great way to kick off 2018, and we are excited to share this recap video with you that highlights some of the fun we had out here that day!
The day kicked off bright and early with the Rugged Ranch Run- competitive runners and participants alike came out and braved this obstacle course we put together with over 20 different challenges throughout the route. Part of our proceeds from this event will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, as will the proceeds from the Silent Auction that was hosted on-site and online by Give Back Auctions out of San Antonio, Texas! We had just over 300 runners throughout the morning, and we are so excited to hold another similar event. Thanks to everyone who participated, volunteered, organized and worked to make it happen!
TOMORROW out here at Texas Ski Ranch is going to be absolutely INSANE and we are absolutely quivering with excitement for everything to kick off. With two huge events both happening on the same day, with some overlap in the morning, we could not have packed the day any more full with both running AND riding!
The day will kick off bright and early at 8am with our competitive wave of Rugged Ranch Runners- who will be challenging themselves to our 20+ obstacle course. The 5k spreads across our entire 70 acres- getting back into the thick of the grounds on TSR! After the first wave of runners we open up all of our participation waves, so everyone has a chance to put their limits to the test! Part of the proceeds from the day will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society, including the proceeds from our silent auction! TSR is working with Give Back Auctions out of San Antonio to put together an auction with over 80 items that will line our boat show room for your viewing and bidding! Don't worry, though, even if you (for some reason!) can't get out here tomorrow- we also...more

We ARE still running on Saturday- but it will be for FREE! This is going to act as a bit of a “test run” event for us- we are inviting anyone and everyone who would like to run the course to just test it out and see how we can improve it and what we might need to fix before we host this event to it's largest potential- it has been moved to Feb 17th, 2018.
We apologize for the confusion with this- we want as many participants as possible this Saturday and want to provide the best experience possible for everyone who attends, as well as be sure we help LLS as much as possible. We hope everyone is still excited about it and please help us share the new date!more

There are a few updates we would like to share with everyone out there who might be wondering what’s going on around here.
Wahoo’s was a wonderful addition to have here at TSR, but we are SO incredibly excited about the changes, additions and new faces. We are thrilled to welcome Sylver, Madison, Tori and the rest of their staff as they bring to life their piece to the puzzle- Sylver Spoon- in the midst of our complex. While it is certainly something relatively out of our “norm”, we are motivated and determined to make it a success, and know that it has great potential. The grand opening for Sylver Spoon will be hosted at TSR on New Year’s Eve, so keep an eye on our event pages so you can get all of the details to ring in 2018 with us! Evening hours will bring Chef-prepared cuisine, nightly tasting menus, a...more

Our Beach Benefit party this past Thursday afternoon/evening was a wonderful success, and we would like to send a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and participated, especially to those who made donations of any kind. There were so many people affected by Hurricane Harvey, and it is a true blessing to be part of such an amazing community who has come together to help in such a way.
If you were unable to make it out here this past Thursday and want to help, we have some great news! We are continuing to accept donations of all kinds throughout the month of September! There are several ways you can help, and get great wakeboarding deals at the same time.

WE. ARE. TEXAS.
Devastation has blown- literally- across our entire beloved state, and we are in nothing but shock. A few of you have seen and/or asked about the damage that our Wahoo's bar has suffered- rest assured it is nothing we can't turn around and make even better than it was before! And the great news is, our restaurant and bar will both be up and running as of tomorrow, the bar has just migrated slightly to downstairs & outside! At the end of the day, we were very fortunate. Not only could the damage have been so much worse, but we are very blessed to only have property suffer, rather than the family members that make TSR what it is. Thank you to everyone for your kind words of encouragement and your prayers- they are more than appreciated.
Hurricane Harvey has taken an unfortuneate toll on not only our incredible state, but the amazing people who live in it. Our TSR family lives for the community we are so blessed to be part of, and have come to the conclusion that our once "Beach Blowout" is going to become our Beach BENEFIT party- with cash and items...more
Pass the Handle 2017 is here!
One of the best worldwide initiatives is rolling back around and is happening on SUNDAY, JULY 23rd out here at TSR and around the world! Four years ago, longtime towed water sports industry leader and #PassTheHandle co-founder, Zane Schwenk, conceptualized the idea with Shaun Murray to share their passion with first-timers on a larger scale. Since then, the initiative has grown significantly through word of mouth, social media and participation.
“The movement to spread the love of towed water sports has continued to grow and bring more happy faces to the water... Our industry, including dealers and the passionate people that love to share the sport have been amazing in their efforts to support #PassTheHandle. It’s like nothing I have ever seen before."
Pass the Handle is incredibly important to us here at TSR, as it is a day completely 100% dedicated to sharing our passion of wakeboarding and other towed water sports with anyone and EVERYONE. We want to #passthehandle to as many people as possible this Sunday,...more
