A bit more on the new restaurant and upcoming events

October has been- and continues to be- a very busy month here at the Ski Ranch! Between the transition of our restaurant, getting ready for our upcoming events, and continuous fun every day, things just don’t seem to slow down around here- and that’s a good thing! There are a few updates we would like to share with everyone out there who might be wondering what’s going on around here.

Wahoo’s was a wonderful addition to have here at TSR, but we are SO incredibly excited about the changes, additions and new faces. We are thrilled to welcome Sylver, Madison, Tori and the rest of their staff as they bring to life their piece to the puzzle- Sylver Spoon- in the midst of our complex. While it is certainly something relatively out of our “norm”, we are motivated and determined to make it a success, and know that it has great potential. The grand opening for Sylver Spoon will be hosted at TSR on New Year’s Eve, so keep an eye on our event pages so you can get all of the details to ring in 2018 with us! Evening hours will bring Chef-prepared cuisine, nightly tasting menus, a stellar wine list, and a myriad of entertainment options. In the meantime, come try out the daily lunch items- fast and fun bites to eat, Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm while the remodeling is in progress. Call us at TSR and ask to speak with Morgen (or email [email protected]) to take advantage of Sylver Spoon’s pre-opening catering specials with your holiday or birthday parties!

As some of you may have heard, our full-bar has migrated downstairs and is developing it’s own unique identity. The Goat Haus will continue to develop and eventually feature a “beer-garden” type feel, open-air music venue, along with a VIP lounge that can be reserved for special events. Unfortunately due to various circumstances the goat haus is temporarily closed, but will re-open and continue to expand as soon as possible, so keep your eyes peeled and follow us on our social media accounts! We will update everyone as we continue with this project!

To wrap up this crazy month, we have a few upcoming events that we are definitely looking forward to, and hope that you will all come help us welcome this nice, cooler fall weather with us! October 21st we are playing host to a private event and will be closed to the public at 5pm that day. That’s this Saturday- so please plan accordingly! All regular hours of operation will resume on Sunday, 10/22.

The following weekend brings all the excitement, right before Halloween! On Thursday, 10/26, to wrap up our Thursday night specials and our year of fun Thursday events, we are hosting a big air kicker competition! $20 entry fee, $300 prize purse, and only one division! Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 tricks- plus one extra- best female rider! Super simple, super fun, super steezy- get in on the action! Competition starts at 5pm, and we will kick off our last $5 Thursday sundown getdown at 6pm as usual. For more details, check out our event page.

To wrap up this month- don’t forget about our Tricks N Treats Halloween event on Saturday, 10/28. A full day of fun, including hay rides, free skate lessons, face painting, trick-or-treating around TSR, and so much more!! We will have over 25 stops and activities hosted by local businesses, so dress up as your favorite goblin, princess, or whatever you want to be and join us for an afternoon and evening of safe, Halloween fun! We will also have half-off cable passes and basic rentals for those of you who dress in costume that day!

Last but most certainly not least- if you are interested in traveling to Steamboat, Colorado with the most epic shred crew of all time- grab a spot before it’s too late! Only $100 deposit to reserve your spot- and spots are filling up incredibly quickly! October 30th is the last a final day you can reserve, but we may fill up before that! Check out traveltsr.com or email [email protected] for more information!

We hope everyone is as excited for all of our new additions and events as we are- if you have any questions feel free to contact us, and don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for continued updates on happenings at the ranch!
