Snowhill FAQ's

Where can I sign/find the waiver for TSR?

All participants must sign our waiver in order to participate in any activity here at TSR. You can find the waiver on the website, or at the direct link is TSRwaiver.com. It is smartphone friendly and there's no need to print it out! All participants under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver for them.

How similar is the snowhill to the actual slopes?

TSR’s hill is made of an artificial turf that is wet down and made rideable for you everyday. It is not like actual snow, however it is built for progression and with the intention to give you the best ride experience before you hit the slopes. The hill is split in different sections, each with a specific purpose. With our Flats, Mini Pipe, Rollers, Banked Turns and Artificial Slope we provide a versatile environment for you to learn in and progress daily.

Do I need to take a lesson first?

Scheduling a lesson is not required at the TSR Snow Park. If you have previous experience and just want some practice you can purchase a two hr or half day pass and rent equipment whenever the park is open. Our staff does recommend beginners take a lesson. This makes for a much better experience and allows our staff to teach you basic skills for a strong riding foundation.

How do I book a lesson?

Scheduling a lesson is easier than ever. Book online by clicking the link below or give us a call at 830.627.2843.

Each lesson includes all rentals, a private coach and an additional hour of ride time to practice what you've learned. You can have up to 4 people in a lesson, additional per person fees do apply.

Do I have to have my own gear?

We have a fully stacked rental room here at the TSR Snow Park with all the essential equipment needed for a day on the slopes. We stock Burton Learn to Ride boards, helmets, boots and bindings. We also have wrist guards, knee pads and elbow pads for extra support! The TSR Snow Park does not rent out Snow Skis, but you are welcome to bring your own.

How old do I have to be?

TSR's waiver requires participants to be ages 6 and up for the TSR Snow Park. However, younger shredders (ages 2-8) can check out the Grom Park at TSR for lessons, birthday parties and more fun!

What should I wear to the snowhill?

Clothes you don't mind getting a little damp! Pants, because nobody likes scuffed knees, and depending on the weather a jacket or T shirt is just fine. We also reccomend all participants wear tall socks.

The TSR Snow Park doesn't just offer snowboarding, it also has snow tubing, waxing and tuning, competitions, birthday parties and group bookings!

We have two huge tubing slides on the back of the hill for anyone that wants to race and enjoy a day cruising down our hill.

Our rental room employees wax and tune snowboards and skis so that you are mountain ready before any trip!

We also occasionally host competitions and any day of the year you can book a birthday party or group and come enjoy a day at the hill!
